Fusion Dojo wrapped up a successful weekend as round 1 of the FU-Soul championship is over. Bigg Rigg, Heavy Metal, Hazuki, Jamie Jones, Antonio Bras, Tiger Prince and Venom all advance to the quarter finals being held this Friday at the Arakita No. 1 Ringu.
Tiger Prince was in the media today addressing his quest for the FU-Soul championship. Prince played the spoiler to the heavily favorite Pero Costa by defeating him in the first round. This was his second strait fall over Costa and quite possibly the biggest upset of round 1. Prince went on to say that he expected to be the underdog of the tournament and accepted that with open arms. He was quick to point out that his determination is just as strong as the 14 other participants in the tournament and warned everyone remaining that he wouldn’t be in easy fight. Prince will now face the last remaining member of the Portuguese Connection, Antonio Bras, in the quarter finals this Friday. Bras will no dubitably be looking for revenge against Prince as he is the last chance for gold in the TPC camp.
Gran Buffalo was also in the media today. He addressed his affiliation with Black Heart Mafia and announced that they have banned together for one common goal and that was to bring the fight to FU-Army and Juan Leche. Buffalo then gloated about his record as he still remains undefeated in a Fusion Dojo ring. He also called out Tranzfusion and accused him of holding him down, stating that overlooking him for the FU-Soul tournament was the worst decision Fusion Dojo could have made. Buffalo ended by warning Tranz that he’d get what was coming to him.
The quarter finals for the FU-Soul championship tournament happens this Friday with Bigg Rigg facing Heavy Metal, Hazuki challenging Jamie Jones, Antonio Bras battling Tiger Prince and Venom reviving an old rivalry as he faces Tranzfusion. Also slated for the Arakita No. 1 Ringu show is Juan Leche and Veronica taking on BHM members AC Slasher and DEMON!
