The big news going today is the formal announcement for a huge 15 man tournament that will run on the December tour to crown the first ever Fusion Dojo champion. Fusion Dojo officials will be introducing the FU-Soul Championship as the company’s lead title to acknowledge its top competitor. Participants for this tournament won’t be announced until the month of December but what we do know is the match stipulation between Tranzfusion and Decay was made official. The winner of the 2 out of 3 falls match made for the Kansai Kokusai Kinen Hooru show will get a bye in the first round while the loser will be forced to sit out of the tournament.
Fusion Dojo competitors are told to be on top of their game as the month of November will prove to be crucial for all wanting to be involved.
Two Count was amongst the media today to announce their official return. Jones and Rigg came out victorious in their return match and showed virtually no ring rust as a tag team. When asked why Fusion Dojo for their return match Rigg replied that Tranzfusion basically begged them to come in. He knew how hot they have been on the Indy scene and having both of them in at the same time will raise the stock of Fusion Dojo by at least 150%! When asked who they see being a threat Jones was quick to laugh and said there’s no such thing when you’re in the ring with Two Count. Both men agreed that neither are really here for the competition but instead are only here for the money. Rigg said Jones especially since he has many polygamy charges to take care of.
In other notes from the 11/3 card, Danny Dynamite suffered a shoulder injury as a result of Pero Costa’s Santa Maria Vice. Dynamite will look to tough it out and go against doctor’s orders. This of course has just added to the already escalating feud between SHOCK and the Portuguese Connection.
The card for this Friday’s Murakawa Choumin Taiikukan show is as follows...
11.10.06
Murakawa Choumin Taiikukan
1. Gran Buffalo vs. Tiger Prince
2. Jamie Jones vs. Veronica
3. Bigg Rigg vs. Kikkoman
4. Heavy Metal vs. Venom
5. Antonio Bras, DEMON, AC Slasher vs. Hazuki, Danny Dynamite & Tracy Riot
