Fusion Dojo is back after an electrifying standing room only crowd at the Arakita No.1 Ringu! For the fans in attendance it was a moment they have been dreaming for quite some time. For the wrestlers it was a chance to showcase their talents and prove why they are some of the best junior weights of our sport.
Most of the roster made it unscathed after the night was over except for one individual and that was the leader of the Black Heart Mafia, Venom! In a shocking turn of events; the rookie Sean Williams decided to take out years of frustration by attacking Venom after the 8 man tag match. Sean was originally suppose to debut for Fusion Dojo in 2008 but did not make the graduating class due to an injury sustained while training at the hands of Venom. To this day it’s not be determined if the injury that put Sean on the shelf for almost 3 years was intentional or not but it was obvious that revenge has been on the mind all these years.
Due to the unforgiving brainbuster by Sean Williams on Venom with the aid of the steel chair, Venom will now be sitting on the sidelines with an injured neck. An MRI has yet to reveal the severity of the injury but Fusion Dojo officials have announced that Venom will not be in wrestling capacity at the next show.
In what many people are calling the upset of the night, “Island Boy” Terry Fanolua was successful in his singles match against The Portuguese Connection’s Antonio Bras. Terry set out and promised that the return of Fusion Dojo would feature a new and improved Terry Fanolua! The 105kg Hawaiian scored the 3 count on former number one contender to the FU-Soul championship, possibly his biggest win to date. It was a crushing blow to Bras but these two haven’t seen the last of each other.
Finally in the most anticipated match of the night, Heavy Metal and Gran Buffalo finally locked horns in singles competition. Both men put everything on the line but it was Buffalo who managed to ware Metal down long enough for the 3 count. With the win Buffalo automatically secures himself a shot at the FU-Soul championship at a later date.
His opponent will be determined by a four corners elimination match at the next Fusion Dojo show. As a special treat for the fans, they will be able to vote in the four men who will be competing for a shot to face Gran Buffalo! Fusion Dojo officials have stated that they are genuinely grateful for all the support the fans have given them and this was their way of thanking them! The polls will be open to the public for a week and will feature six possible choices with the top four advancing. The choices are…
Tranzfusion
Heavy Metal
Tiger Prince
Hazuki
Kikkoman
Mystery Opponent
Fans can expect to see the winners of the poll next Sunday along with the full line up for the next Fusion Dojo show.
